Here you configure the majority of the connectivity between the modules. I say this because I am a trained PS configurer. Project management is in fact the smallest part of the PS module. FICO is a much larger party. As for online training. There are many online training sites for PM and none that are certified to teach SAP PS. Well bro, if you like, you can continue your job in Sales & Marketing. If you are not enjoying your current profile then start hunting for a new job that you would like. Start searching for Senior profile in your area of expertise. I am sure in another 2 years you would be in better position. In sales you grow faster & there are always opportunities to earn incentives more than what your Annual CTC is. So as you mentioned that you have worked really hard, you should have managed to earn not only your CTC but also lots of Incentives as well. Try your luck in sales with big companies. I suppose you will get some really good opportunity with higher CTC. With regards to SAP career, people will suggest you to do SD module based on your previous work experience and Mr. Neal is absolutely correct. Here also you need to struggle for few years even after spending lots of time, energy & money. After doing course, if you manage (not easy though) to get opportunity in a small & medium size company like mine then be sure that you will get pittance salary. There is no harm in trying. So if you want such transition then you are welcome in SAP world. Take help of your heart & brain both while taking the final decision. TY. But how do you configure these processes inside of SAP? As an SAP consultant, you are expected to be an expert in these fields too. The SAP configuration courses only teach you where these configurations can be made, but not what combinations are possible. So you will be telling your client that you can configure this that and the other without even knowing that it is possible or not. You tell me, does this sound like a good plan to you? To really make it work, you have to spend years configuring not as a consultant, but for a single company. These are paid much less than consultants for obvious reasons. They were asking for some good amount with placement promise. If I can suggest. Don't go in that institute. I have never been there...but all these are not eligible for SAP. Trust me. Go for only SAP Eligible. Seimens, Genovate , NIIT....anywhere who will give you SAP Certification from SAP. I know you will have to spend little more but Sky Infotech also asks a huge amount but its not trust worthy. I have had a good struggle in SAP Market. The minute I did SAP Certification from Genovate after 1 Month I m now working in MNC in Bangalore. I did Online SAP Certification which costs less than Full Time Certification. Go for it you will automatically get placed. And None of these local institutes will not land you up in placement. Try to go in a local institute for course of up to Rs15000. Get yourself knowledgeable for SAP terminologies.as they wont be able to teach you much and then go for Online Certification. Hope this helps. All the Best.
